Do you want a better relationship with your spouse/significant other? Do you want to be healthier? Do you want a clearer mind? Do you want to be a better parent? Do you want to have better control over your finances? Do you want more joy?

While I don’t have a quick/easy answer for you to achieve all of these things, I do have a simple activity that can help you see improvements in all of these areas.

Take a 30-minute(or longer) daily walk with your spouse/significant other. And take turns talking about whatever is on your mind.

My wife and I recently started doing this again. It is one of my favorite things. We are being active together. We talk about the kids, our ideas, finances, work, our relationship.

For those of you thinking “I don’t have time for a 30-minute walk” – we make time for what we value.

For those of you that are only home with your spouse when your young kids are home – take them with you. Family walks are a great activity!

Talk to your spouse/significant other about this idea, look at your calendars, and SCHEDULE walking together.
